As the morning sun dapples Aspen’s meadows, you’ll meet up with your expert fly-fishing guide, who will provide you with a premium rod and reel, top-of-the-line flies, and a local’s knowledge of the best fishing spots. You’ll learn the ins and outs of casting and the nuances of choosing flies—and then test your skills with exclusive access to private ponds, Gold Medal waters, and the cool, crisp waters of the Roaring Fork Valley.
After an active morning of fishing, your guide will drive you up the mountain to Buckhorn Cabin, where one of the best chefs in Aspen awaits. While your chef puts the finishing touches on your plein air meal, look around—you’ll be dining in the midst of a dramatic backdrop, with some of the most sweeping vistas in the world. During your meal, your sommelier will walk you through wine pairings. Each bite and sip is something to be savored. Just like the view.
